Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has had his Olympiacos contract terminated just three months after rejoining the club.
The 35-year-old returned to the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in September, 12 years on from spending a season with the Greek giants.
Toure, who became a free agent when his Man City contract expired in the summer, made two starts and two substitute appearances for Olympiacos before having his contract ripped up.
A club statement read: "Olympiacos and Yaya Toure would like to announce to the fans that they have mutually agreed to end their cooperation.
"Yaya is leaving as a friend and the doors at Olympiacos will always be open for him. Our paths will surely cross again."
Toure was linked with a number of Premier League sides before committing to Olympiacos, including London duo West Ham United and Arsenal.
