Paris Saint-Germain match Arsenal's Mesut Ozil bid?

Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain have had a bid for Mesut Ozil accepted, meaning that the German will have a choice between the French club and Arsenal.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly matched the £42m bid that Arsenal are believed to have made for Real Madrid attacker Mesut Ozil.

Reports this lunchtime had claimed that Los Blancos have accepted the offer from the Gunners, with a medical due to take place in Germany shortly.

However, Ligue 1 side PSG have submitted the same offer as their English counterparts, according to numerous reports.

It is expected that once this afternoon's unveiling of winger Gareth Bale has concluded, Madrid will announce that they have granted both clubs permission to talk to the 24-year-old.

From that point, it would be up to Ozil to decide which team he joins.
