Real Madrid willing to sell Karim Benzema to Arsenal?

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to sell Karim Benzema.

Real Madrid are willing to sell Karim Benzema, according to La Liga journalist Graham Hunter.

Arsenal, who have been linked with a double swoop for Benzema and teammate Angel di Maria, have so far failed in their attempts to sign Luis Suarez, Gonzalo Higuain and Wayne Rooney.

However, Hunter believes that Madrid could sell Benzema in order to raise the necessary funds for their own Suarez bid.

Hunter told talkSPORT: "[Karim] Benzema has not convinced over the last 10 months and was booed off at the weekend when substituted, despite scoring.

"Madrid see a scenario where they are willing to trade Benzema to get the money to try to go after Suarez. That's their strategy."

Arsenal have also been linked with Sporting Lisbon player Diego Capel.
