Pepe Reina linked with Arsenal

Arsenal are reportedly considering Pepe Reina as a replacement for goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Arsenal have been linked with a summer swoop for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to find a replacement for under-fire stopper Wojciech Szczesny and is also eyeing Simon Mignolet, Asmir Begovic and Michel Vorm as potential solutions, the Daily Mail reports.

Wenger finds himself under mounting pressure following this weekend's 1-0 defeat to Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup and is looking to strengthen his squad at the first opportunity.

The club missed out on signing David Villa in the January transfer window but have a reported £70m budget set aside for rebuilding when it reopens.

Arsenal are in Champions League action on Tuesday evening when they take on Bayern Munich in the last-16 of the competition.
