Arsenal have reportedly offered highly-rated forward Chuba Akpom a new three-year contract to stay at the club.
The 19-year-old has built his reputation with fine performances of the club's Under-21 side, but his current deal is set to expire in the summer.
Akpom's contract situation means that he is now allowed to hold talks with foreign clubs, and there is interest from Feyenoord, FC Twente and Borussia Dortmund, according to the Evening Standard.
However, Arsene Wenger is keen to keep the striker at the club, and he is hopeful of persuading him to sign an extension in the near future.
Despite being unlikely to be allowed to leave this month due to the departures of Lukas Podolski and Yaya Sanogo, Akpom is believed to be considering leaving the Emirates Stadium as he is eager to secure regular first-team football.
Akpom has made just three appearances for the senior side this season.
