Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly preparing to make a move for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
The Italian moved back to his homeland in January from Manchester City, but has reportedly been involved in several fall-outs as well as being a regular target of racist abuse from opposition fans.
Balotelli would be available for around £12m, according to the Daily Mail, and the Gunners and the Reds are ready to battle it out for the player's signature when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year.
Milan beat Sampdoria 1-0 in Serie A on Saturday evening.
