Report: Arsenal to make £5m offer for Pepe Reina

Arsenal are willing to pay £5m to secure the services of Pepe Reina this summer, according to reports.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina as a transfer target ahead of next season.

The Spaniard spent last term on loan at Napoli, and he is believed to be attracting the interest from a number of clubs across Europe due to Liverpool's reported willingness to do business.

Napoli head coach Rafael Benitez revealed on Thursday that they will not be making a bid for Reina, which has alerted the Gunners.

According to Metro, Arsene Wenger is willing to pay £5m for Reina as he looks to bring in competition for Wojciech Szczesny.

Arsenal are lacking an experienced goalkeeper after Lukasz Fabianski left the club to join Swansea City.
