Bordeaux are reportedly confident of seeing off competition from their Ligue 1 rivals for Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny.
The 33-year-old is the subject of disciplinary proceedings after refusing to travel with the Gunners for their pre-season tour of America.
Koscielny is said to have informed boss Unai Emery of his decision earlier in the week and he did not board the plane on Thursday afternoon, supposedly because he is unhappy at the club's attempts to block his exit.
L'Equipe claims that Bordeaux expect the Frenchman to be granted his wish of leaving the Emirates Stadium, however, and they are not worried about possible competition from Lyon and Rennes.
The report also indicates that Paulo Sousa's side have been trying to sign Koscielny since April.
