Arsenal are reportedly close to cementing Olivier Giroud's future with the club with a new contract.
The Frenchman is currently nursing a broken foot and is not expected to return to action until the New Year.
Despite the striker's injury blow, manager Arsene Wenger is believed to have given the club the green light to offer Giroud fresh terms.
According to Goal.com, the forward has been offered a two-year contract extension, which runs until 2018 and carries increased wages of £90,000 per week.
The 27-year-old, who is said to currently be earning £60,000-a-week wages, began talks with the North London club in the summer.
