Real Madrid are reportedly no closer to securing the signing of Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva from Cruzeiro.
The 21-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best youngsters in world football, has been strongly linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent months.
Cruzeiro confirmed last week that they had rejected an offer for the Brazilian, but Real Madrid are said to have launched a second bid.
According to reports in South America, the second offer has also been rejected, with Cruzeiro said to have upped their asking price.
Silva has also been linked with Arsenal.
