Roma are reported to have opened talks with Arsenal over the transfer of Ivorian forward Gervinho.
It was reported that Giallorossi director Walter Sabatini flew into London on Wednesday to discuss a deal for the 26-year-old.
According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners are willing to accept a bid of £7m for Gervinho, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium in a £10.5m deal from Lille two years ago.
It was at Les Dogues that he played under new Roma coach Rudi Garcia, scoring 14 goals in their Ligue 1 title-winning campaign in 2011.
However, since moving to North London, he has found the net just nine times in 46 Premier League appearances.
