Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil 'to sign new Arsenal deals this summer'

Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are tipped to sign new deals this summer.

Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are reportedly on the verge of pledging their futures to Arsenal.

The duo will put pen to paper on contract extensions this summer, according to The Express.

The move will end the transfer speculation surrounding Sanchez and Ozil, with the latter having been linked with Barcelona this season.

"Both of those will be done in the break, in the summer," Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is quoted as saying.

"I am confident they will be done. They both look happy. When I talk to them they are happy, and they want to extend their contracts, so I don't think it is a problem."

The new deal will reportedly take Ozil's salary to £180,000 per week, with Chilean international Sanchez expected to earn a similar amount.
