Southampton are reportedly lining up a summer bid for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The 25-year-old has lost his starting place at the Emirates Stadium to David Ospina this season after a string of inconsistent performances.
Szczesny also hit the headlines after being caught smoking following Arsenal's defeat to Southampton on New Year's Day.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, which could mean that Szczesny's days in North London are numbered.
However, Southampton are said to be prepared to offer the Polish international a reprieve.
The South Coast side are fearful that first-choice stopper Fraser Forster could miss the whole of next season after sustaining a serious knee injury against Burnley in March.
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has identified Szczesny as the perfect replacement and is keen to sign him on loan, according to The Express.
Szczesny has made 179 appearances for Arsenal during his eight years with the club.
