Swansea City 'want £20m for Arsenal target Wilfred Bony'

Swansea City will look to deter Arsenal from making a move for Wilfred Bony by slapping a £20m price tag on the striker, according to reports.

Swansea City will reportedly slap a £20m price tag on striker Wilfred Bony as they look to ward off a potential bid from Arsenal this summer.

The Ivory Coast international has scored 15 goals since joining the South Wales club from Vitesse Arnhem last year and his form has caught the eye of several teams, including Everton, who may go back into the market if they lose Romelu Lukaku, according to The Mirror.

Should Arsenal make a move for Bony at the end of the season, then it is thought that the forward may face a tough decision over his future.

However, Swansea will look to stand firm, knowing that it could take around £20m to sign a reasonable replacement for Bony.

The Swans were beaten at home by Southampton on Saturday.
