Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign soon-to-be free agent Thiago Silva this summer.
The Brazil international is confirmed to be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer, leaving several clubs supposedly eyeing up Silva as an ideal free signing during a financially-restricted transfer window.
Arsenal, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and West Ham United are all rumoured to be interested in the 35-year-old, who turned out 21 times for PSG in Ligue 1 before the season was curtailed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to The Sun, Spurs manager Jose Mourinho is determined to bring Silva to North London as a replacement for Jan Vertonghen, who is supposedly ready to move on when his current Tottenham deal runs out in a few weeks' time.
Silva has amassed 310 appearances for PSG since his arrival from AC Milan in 2012 and the centre-back has claimed the Ligue 1 title on seven occasions during his stint in the French capital.
