Arsene Wenger to remain quiet in January transfer market

Arsene Wenger claims that Arsenal will not buy any new players in the January transfer window.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is not looking to buy new players in the January transfer window.

The Frenchman, who has been criticised in the past for a lack of activity in the transfer market, brought in nine new faces to the Emirates Stadium over the summer.

"At the moment, in the transfer window we are just interested in keeping our squad," he said. "We have a big squad and we are not after anybody."

The Gunners host Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
