Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reportedly turned down the chance to sign Louis Saha on the final day of the January transfer window.
The 33-year-old striker joined Tottenham Hotspur from Everton on a free last month, but was offered to Arsenal first, according to The Mirror.
Wenger refused to take up the option, however, despite having limited cover for Robin Van Persie.
Saha has scored two goals in two games since making the move to London, and could feature in the tie with Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
