Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger suggests that Theo Walcott is replaceable within the Gunners team following reports that the England international could leave the club.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that winger Theo Walcott could leave the North London club this summer.

The England international, who has been forced to wait for contract talks with the Gunners, has been linked with a possible switch to Liverpool.

"We will see," said Wenger. "We sort these situations out always in the best interests of the club. We have plenty of young players and you see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain here.

"We bought Walcott when he was young and we want to keep our players. We always want to keep them."

The 23-year-old, like wantaway striker Robin van Persie, has one year remaining on his current Arsenal contract.
