Russian club Zenit St Petersburg have confirmed their interest in resigning Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin.
The 30-year-old, who has started just six matches this season, is said to be tempted by a return to his homeland.
Zenit director Igor Korneyev admitted that his club were monitoring Arshavin's availability, but stopped short of revealing whether or not a bid had been submitted.
"We are always interested in Arshavin," Korneyev told Sovietsky Sport. "But I can neither confirm nor deny whether we have made an offer."
Arshavin joined the Gunners in 2008 from Zenit.
