Zlatan Ibrahimovic urges Robin van Persie to leave Arsenal in order to win trophies.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has urged Robin van Persie to leave Arsenal in order to win trophies.

The Dutchman, who has one year left on his contract, has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Manchester City.

Ibrahimovic, who was part of the AC Milan side that beat the Gunners 4-0 in midweek, believes that the striker should follow his lead and switch clubs.

"Football is all about winning. If you don't win you want to go. I don't know Robin personally but I remember him from Holland and what a talent he was — now he is complete," he told the Sun.

"I don't know what he is thinking but I know what I would do.

"I have made a lot of moves in my life — I take it as a challenge, an adventure. And I have won eight titles in eight years with different clubs in different countries."

Milan travel to the Emirates Stadium for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday, March 6.
