Report: Juventus want Joao Moutinho

A report claims that Juventus want to sign AS Monaco's experienced midfielder Joao Moutinho in the January transfer window.

Italian champions Juventus are reportedly considering a January move for AS Monaco's Joao Moutinho as they attempt to boost their midfield options.

Moutinho, 29, joined Monaco from Porto in the summer of 2013 and made more than 50 appearances for the French outfit last season.

The midfielder has also made 10 league appearances this season and five in the Europa League, but has not scored for the Ligue 1 outfit this term.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juve have identified the Portuguese international as their leading target for the winter transfer window.

Moutinho, who started his professional career at Sporting Lisbon, has made 81 appearances for his country, scoring four times in the process.
