Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood: 'Injuries are crippling us'

Tim Sherwood says that Aston Villa's growing injury list is "crippling" the team, but accepts that they need to "get on with it".

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has described the club's current injury list as "unbelievable".

The 46-year-old will be without Ashley Westwood and Scott Sinclair for tomorrow night's clash against Queens Park Rangers.

Tom Cleverley, Kieran Richardson and Aly Cissokho are also touch and go, while Alan Hutton will miss the game with an ankle injury that he suffered in Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Manchester United.

"It's unbelievable, I've never known an injury list like it," the Birmingham Mail quotes Sherwood as saying. "It's disappointing because it's crippling us. We've just got to get on with it."

Villa are just two points above relegation in the Premier League.
