Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has called for patience from fans ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Villans have added six names to their squad this summer, including the £4m signing of Jores Okore from FC Nordsjaelland.
"We're trying to build something here and it's not going to happen overnight, I know that," the Scot told Villa's official website. "But what we've done is bring in people who have got legs.
"We've got legs in the side. That's important in modern day football and the way we play is a high-intensity game."
Villa get their league campaign off the mark on Saturday with a trip to Arsenal.
