Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has admitted that criticism from the supporters hasn't been easy to handle but is adamant that he can ignore the negativity and get on with the job in hand.
The Villa fans have targeted the former Birmingham City boss following an unsettling season, which has put the Midlands side just eight points above relegation.
"I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me, that it was easy to handle and there was no pressure whatever," said McLeish.
"That would be total fabrication. But I believe I'm strong enough and I have the experience to handle it."
Villa take on Blackburn Rovers this Saturday.
