Preview: Aston Villa vs. Leicester City

Sports Mole previews the match in the Premier League between Aston Villa and Leicester City.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert will be hopeful of extending the club's unbeaten run to five games when they host Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.

Lambert's spell at the club looked under threat after Villa suffered six successive defeats earlier in the season but the Scot has guided his side up to 12th position after six points from four games.

However, the Scot has selection problems ahead of the game at Villa Park, with striker Andreas Weimann missing through suspension and Joe Cole having been ruled out for a couple of weeks with a hamstring problem.

The defensive trio of Ron Vlaar, Philippe Senderos and Nathan Baker are also sidelined for the visit of the Foxes.

After a solid start to the campaign, Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has witnessed his team fail to win since their 5-3 triumph over Manchester United, a run stretching nine games.

Leicester now sit bottom of the standings and Pearson has been dealt a further blow after defender Wes Morgan was sent off against Liverpool on Tuesday night.

His suspension is likely to lead to a recall for Liam Moore, while Dean Hammond could earn a start in midfield.
