Preview: Aston Villa vs. West Bromwich Albion

Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion go head to head this Sunday as both sides switch their attention to the Premier League following their League Cup commitments.

Aston Villa take on West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park this Sunday and the Midlands outfit will be determined to maintain their League Cup form as they head into the Premier League clash.

Paul Lambert witnessed his side knock Manchester City out of the domestic competition last week, while the Baggies were dumped out by Liverpool.

The Villans are expected to welcome back Richard Dunne into the fold following the defender's recovery from a groin injury, while Stephen Ireland remains sidelined with a wrist problem.

Meanwhile, Steve Clarke will be unable to call on forward Peter Odemwingie due to his three-match ban, while Liam Ridgewell could also be out of the clash due to a calf injury.
