Team News: Aston Villa unchanged against Nottingham Forest

Steve Bruce names an unchanged Aston Villa side for the visit of Nottingham Forest.

Steve Bruce has named an unchanged Aston Villa side for the visit of Nottingham Forest this evening.

Albert Adomah, Keinan Davis and Jonathan Kodjia continue their partnership up front after the 3-0 victory at Barnsley last time out as the Villans made it five Championship games unbeaten.

Glen Whelan, Conor Hourihane and Robert Snodgrass are in the three-man midfield, while Ahmed Elmohamady, John Terry, James Chester and Neil Taylor are in the back four and Sam Johnstone has the gloves.

For Forest, Mark Warburton makes just the one change after last weekend's home defeat at the hands of high-flying Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Andreas Bouchalakis wins back a starting spot, replacing Ben Osborn in the middle of the park alongside Liam Bridcutt, Kieran Dowell and Tendayi Darikwa.

Ben Brereton, Daryl Murphy and Barrie McKay retain their spots in the frontline, with Mustapha Carayol staying put among the substitutes despite coming off the bench to score an impressive goal against Wolves.

Matt Mills, Armand Traore and Matt Mills make up an unchanged back three, while Jordan Smith is in goal.

Aston Villa: Johnstone; Elmohamady, Terry, Chester, Taylor; Whelan, Hourihane, Snodgrass; Adomah, Davis, Kodjia

Nottingham Forest: Smith; Mills, Traore, Worrall; Bridcutt, Bouchalakis, Dowell, Darikwa; Brereton, McKay, Murphy
