Marian Kello close to Aston Villa move

Aston Villa have reportedly moved a step closer to securing the signature of goalkeeper Marian Kello.

The Slovakian was recently released by Hearts and Alex McLeish's side have been repeatedly linked with a move for the 29-year-old.

It appears that the deal is close to completion, with Sky Sports News reporting that Kello will begin talks with the club this week.

Kello is now expected to sign a pre-contract agreement with Villa.

The goalkeeper had been at Hearts since 2008.
