Report: Aston Villa want Diego Rolan

A report claims that Aston Villa want to sign Bordeaux forward Diego Rolan this summer, but will have to pay £14m for his services.

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan.

The Premier League outfit are expected to be in the market for a new striker this summer when Christian Benteke finally completes his move to Liverpool.

A number of forwards have been linked with Villa Park, but according to Sud Quest, Rolan has risen to the head of the list.

The same report claims that Bordeaux will hold out for £14m for a player that has been capped on six occasions by Uruguay.

The 22-year-old joined his current club from Defensor Sporting in 2013 and has since scored 17 times in 61 league games.
