Aston Villa have reportedly started to look for a solution regarding the fates of Ross McCormack and Micah Richards.
Both players have no future at the West Midlands outfit, but the pair are on lucrative deals which run to 2020 and 2019 respectively.
According to The Mirror, that has resulted in manager Steve Bruce asking the club's hierarchy to try to come to an agreement over their early exits.
Villa spent £12m to sign McCormack in August 2016, but the Scottish attacker has scored just three goals from 24 outings in all competitions.
Richards has not made an appearance for Villa since October 2016 due to injury, but the former England international remains one of the highest earners at the club.
