Aston Villa have reportedly identified Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson as a replacement for Christian Benteke.
Wilson netted 20 Championship goals last season to help the Cherries win promotion to the Premier League as champions of the second tier.
Benteke's form has improved since Tim Sherwood took charge of Villa, which has led to several clubs lining up to sign him.
Arsenal and Liverpool are among the teams thought to be interested in the Belgian international.
Villa reportedly made an approach for Wilson in January but were put off by Bournemouth's £7m asking price.
According to The Mirror, the Midlanders will firm up their interest in the frontman if Benteke leaves Villa Park this summer.
Wilson joined Bournemouth from Coventry City last summer.
