Stefano Colantuono delighted with victory over Napoli

Atalanta BC manager Stefano Colantuono says that he is pleased with his team's 3-0 win over Napoli.

Atalanta BC manager Stefano Colantuono has expressed his delight at his side's 3-0 win over Napoli.

Two goals from German Denis and a further strike from Maximiliano Moralez earned the Nerazzurri a third successive home victory.

"It was a good game and, regardless of the result, Napoli are always Napoli. I am also happy that we broke further away from the relegation zone, so all of that makes me pleased," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"We knew Napoli had a packed fixture list and weren't very sharp, so we prepared the game trying to hit them with pace and intensity. I think it worked perfectly, especially in the second half. This season we are struggling away from home, but I think at home we are one of the top five. We certainly have to improve that.

"We always try to play good football and caused problems against Juventus and Roma, so we do very well on home turf. If we can improve our performances on our travels then we can achieve something this season."

Atalanta are currently 12th in the Serie A table.
