Half-Time Report: No goals at La Rosaleda

Malaga and Atletico Madrid remain level after a goalless first half at La Rosaleda in La Liga.

There were no goals in the first half between Malaga and Atletico Madrid in La Liga this afternoon.

The home side came close to breaking the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes, but Sergio Sanchez sliced his finish from an Eliseu free kick well high.

Atletico had to wait until the 23rd minute for their first chance of the match, as Francisco Juanfran fired a powerful effort towards the Malaga goal, but his shot went straight into the hands of Wilfredo Caballero.

Diego Costa broke free from midfield while pressing for the visitors late in the first half, but was flagged for offside.

The Madrid side had another chance in stoppage time, as Koke delivered a free kick into the box for Oliver Torres, but the midfielder could not find the target.
