Kiko Casilla identifies Diego Costa as Atletico Madrid's main threat

Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla identifies Diego Costa as Atletico Madrid's main threat to their chances of victory this weekend.

Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has warned his teammates that they must stop Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa when the two sides meet this weekend.

Costa has scored 10 times in eight league matches this season, with Atletico claiming 24 points from a possible 24 thus far.

"We hope to keep Diego Costa dry, I really trust in my defence. We know that he is one of the best players and that he will be hard to stop. He is a tough forward, who blows away opponents," he told reporters at a press conference.

"He does not stop pressing, he has great quality and always plays with great intensity."

Costa had been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer before penning a fresh contract with Diego Simeone's side.
