Nicolas Otamendi pleased with "positive point"

Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi reveals his delight after his side secured a point at Atletico Madrid on Sunday evening.

Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi has expressed his belief that his side "deserved" to claim a point in their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Sunday evening.

The visitors were forced to play the final few minutes with 10 men following a late red card for Javi Fuego, but held on to secure a draw at the home of the Spanish champions.

"We knew Atletico is a team who never give up any ball, is aggressive and well organised. Our draw is well deserved. After ending up with ten men, it's a positive point," Otamendi has been quoted as saying by Inside Spanish Football.

Valencia remain fourth in La Liga, just one point behind Atletico.
