Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has claimed that forward Antoine Griezmann will become one of the world's finest players at some point in the future.
The French star, 24, has dazzled in the Spanish capital following a £22m move from Real Sociedad 14 months ago, netting 25 times in all competitions last term.
"He always challenges himself, which is very important in the life of any person, whenever someone sets themselves those goals they have to work to get the desired result," the Argentine coach is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
"Antoine has grown tremendously. He's a young guy with great enthusiasm, eager to make progress and has all the athletic ability needed to reach the very top levels.
"Hopefully the result of work and regularity of the game gives you the chance to be in such an important place as he looks. He has the natural ability to get to the top, of that I have no doubt."
Griezmann is already off the mark this season after scoring in the 3-0 win at Sevilla prior to the international break.
