Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago has paid tribute to his teammates amid suggestions that the Portuguese international is currently in the best form of his life.
The 34-year-old started his professional career in 1999 with Braga and has since represented the likes of Benfica, Chelsea, Lyon and Juventus during a well-travelled career.
Despite seemingly approaching the end of his playing days, Tiago's performances over the last 12 months have been widely lauded and he has been an ever-present for Atletico this season.
The midfielder has claimed that he 'feels very good' despite his advancing years, but has credited his teammates for helping him maintain a high level of form.
"I want to say yes, this is my best form. I feel very good, but credit goes to the team and the players who are with me. Those in defence and in attack. They help me a lot, make it very easy, and I think that is the secret," AS quotes Tiago as saying.
Tiago signed a new two-year deal with Atletico in the summer of 2014, and as it stands will be a free agent next June.
