Preview: Atletico Madrid vs. Real Betis

Sports Mole previews Sunday's La Liga encounter between high-flying Atletico Madrid and struggling Real Betis.

Atletico Madrid go into Sunday's match against Real Betis looking to keep up the pressure on Barcelona in the league.

Atletico currently sit second in the table but could move top with a win, depending on the result of Saturday's El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Diego Simeone's side were triumphant against Austria Vienna in the Champions League this week, but they fell to their first defeat of the season in their last league outing, losing 1-0 to Espanyol.

In-form striker Diego Costa is expected to resume up front for the hosts, but they will be without Aranzubia, Leo Baptistao and Miranda through injury.

Betis, meanwhile, have lost their last two league games and now sit just one point above the relegation zone.

The visitors will be without the injured trio of Ruben Castro, Sergio Rodriguez and Eder Vilarchao for the match as they look to pull off a major shock at the Vicente Calderon.
