Preview: Elche vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole previews the match between Elche and Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

Elche host Atletico Madrid at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero on Saturday looking to continue their impressive start to the season.

Los Franjiverdes are currently in 10th position in the La Liga table after promotion from the Segunda Division last season, while they also defeated Valencia last weekend.

Manager Fran Escriba will be missing Manu and Alvaro Gimenez for the visit of Atletico Madrid.

Atletico thrashed Getafe last weekend to consolidate their spot in second position in the table, and they will be aware that nothing short of victory against Elche will be enough to remain within touching distance of leaders Barcelona.

Diego Costa and David Villa could return after being rested in the Champions League in midweek.
