Preview: Sevilla vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole looks ahead to Atletico Madrid's La Liga opener against Sevilla, with David Villa in line for his debut.

Sevilla and Atletico Madrid meet in an intriguing fixture on La Liga's opening weekend, as both sides face up to life without their last season's talismanic top scorers.

Alvaro Negredo and Radamel Falcao have moved on during the summer, with replacements Kevin Gameiro and David Villa under instant pressure to find the target.

Gameiro should make his Sevilla debut alongside Carlos Bacca in a new-look strikeforce on Sunday night, while Marko Marin and Nico Pareja will also hope to make competitive home bows.

Villa's maiden Atletico appearance should come with the support of Brazilian forward Diego Costa, who turned down Liverpool's advances earlier this summer.

Atleti coach Diego Simeone also has Leo Baptistao fighting for his debut, but he will be without experienced midfielder Tiago through suspension.

Possible lineups:

Sevilla: Beto, Moreno, Pareja, Fazio, Coke, Jairo, Kondogbia, Rakitic, Marin, Bacca, Gameiro

Atletico: Courtois, Luis, Godin, Miranda, Juanfran, Turan, Suarez, Gabi, Koke, Costa, Villa

Sports Mole says: 1-2
