Team News: Koke, Mario Mandzukic miss out for Atletico Madrid

Fernando Torres has to settle for a place on the Atletico Madrid bench once more for the trip to take on Sevilla, despite the absence of Mario Mandzukic.

Atletico Madrid will attempt to overcome Sevilla and keep their La Liga title hopes alive this evening without the aid of Koke and Mario Mandzukic.

Both players miss out on the trip to Andalusia, with Koke still nursing a hamstring injury which has seen him sit out the last three weeks of action, while Croatian international Mandzukic is also absent from the starting lineup.

Despite the Spanish champions being without their star forward, Fernando Torres has to settle for a place among the substitutes with Antoine Griezmann given the nod to start up front.

In terms of Sevilla, who find themselves eight points behind their opponents heading into this one, they have named an attacking side with Tottenham Hotspur-linked forward Carlos Bacca being supported by Vitolo in attack.

Beto misses out once more for Los Rojiblancos, as does Iago Aspas, who is nursing a hamstring injury.
