Everton are reportedly preparing a summer offer for Atletico Madrid defender Santiago Arias.
The 28-year-old has only made 11 first-team appearances for Diego Simeone's side this season and has not been included in any of his team's last three La Liga squads.
Arias has a contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until the summer of 2023, but there have been suggestions that he could seek pastures new ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Everton are lining up a summer approach for the Colombia international, who could be viewed as an alternative to Djibril Sidibe at right-back.
The Toffees allegedly have the option of signing Sidibe on a permanent deal from Monaco this summer, but it remains to be seen whether Carlo Ancelotti's side activate the clause in question.
Arias, who represented his country at both the 2014 and 2018 World Cup, has made 44 appearances for Atletico since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2018.
