Antoine Griezmann has committed his long-term future to Atletico Madrid by signing a new five-year contract.
The striker had been linked with a move away from Vicente Calderon but after netting 32 goals for the Champions League runners-up last season, the French international has opted to remain in the Spanish capital.
The 25-year-old told the club's official website: "I am very happy, very happy to stay in this family and in this project each year seek to improve and the club, the coach and my team-mates let me."
The news comes after it was reported earlier this week that strike partner Fernando Torres was close to penning a one-year extension to prolong his stay at the club.
