Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran is confident that Antoine Griezmann will decide to stay with the club this summer.

Griezmann scored twice in Wednesday night's Europa League final, with Atletico claiming the trophy courtesy of a 3-0 win over Marseille.

The France international is reportedly heading for Barcelona this summer, although Juanfran remains hopeful that his teammate will decide to remain in the Spanish capital.

"We love him very much and he deserves good things to happen to him," Juanfran told beIN Sports. "I'm sure that next year we'll still be together and in another final."

Following the Europa League final, Griezmann said that he 'owes a lot' to Atletico boss Diego Simeone.
