Jackson Martinez has joined Atletico Madrid from Porto, according to his agent.
The player's representative Luiz Henrique Pompeo told Spanish newspaper AS that the deal was completed on Tuesday.
"It was sealed today," said Pompeo. "Atletico is a very big club which has had a lot of success in its league and in Europe and Jackson is going there full of desire to do great things."
Atletico were in the market for a striker following Croatia international Mario Mandzukic's move to Juventus earlier this week.
The La Liga side are said to have paid €35m (£24m) to meet the buyout clause in Martinez's contract.
