Koo Ja-Cheol targets a late surge away from relegation danger this season.

Augsburg midfielder Koo Ja-Cheol has urged his teammates to continue their good run of form in order to catch 15-placed Fortuna Dusseldorf in the Bundesliga.

The relegation-threatened side won their third game in four matches at the weekend away to Hamburger SV, and Koo says that the players have finally adapted to the new coach Markus Weinzierl.

"We've just got to keep up our recent performances," he told Bundesliga.com.

"We prepared well for the second half of the season. A few players like Ji Dong-Won and Andre Hahn have been added to the squad and we're finally making better use of our strengths.

"We're much more confident when playing away from home now. What we do now is say that we want to win it by any means possible and that we can achieve it. We showed precisely that desire in the Hamburg game."

Koo has three goals and two assists for Augsburg this season.
