Augsburg scored in the second half to claim a point from their home clash against Hannover in the Bundesliga.
It took Andre Hahn only four minutes to test Ron-Robert Zieler, but the Hannover goalkeeper was able to tip his swerving shot from the edge of the box over the bar.
Hahn worked himself into space in the box as well to meet a header from a cross by Matthias Ostrzolek, but he got slightly underneath it and could only guide it over the bar.
It took 20 minutes but Hannover finally got into the game, with Artjoms Rudnevs forcing Alexander Manninger into a save; however, the Austrian was able to concede a corner.
Then a minute later they went ahead. Mame Biram Diouf reacted quickest to a scramble from a Manuel Schmiedebach corner to turn the ball into the net.
Just 10 minutes into the second half the hosts were level. Ragnar Klavan met a Tobias Werner corner to level things for his side.
After the equaliser, Hannover had the better of the play, but neither side created enough for the rest of the match and the points were shared.
