Nemanja Gudelj leads AZ to victory over ADO Den Haag

Nemanja Gudelj scores twice as AZ defeat ADO Den Haag 3-1 in the Eredivisie.

AZ beat ADO Den Haag 3-1 in the Eredivisie this evening thanks to a double from Nemanja Gudelj and a goal from Derrick Luckassen at the AFAS Stadion.

Gudelj opened the scoring in the 25th minute, firing into the net from long range.

In the 55th minute, Wilson Eduardo levelled the scores after Roland Alberg's assist.

Luckassen regained the lead for AZ on the hour mark with a solo effort, and Gudelj scored his second goal five minutes later after receiving a pass from Dabney dos Santos.

The result sees AZ climb to fourth in the Eredivisie table, with ADO Den Haag remaining in 12th.
