Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas has scooped the Women's Ballon d'Or award for 2021.
The 27-year-old notched up a staggering 26 goals in all tournaments last term as Barcelona Femeni won the Champions League, Primera Division and Copa de la Reina.
Putellas - who already has 14 goals to her name from 13 appearances in the 2021-22 season - had a direct hand in two of her side's goals in the 4-0 Champions League final win over Chelsea and hailed an "emotional" moment in Paris.
"I'm very emotional, it's a very special moment. I would like to start by thanking all my team-mates, especially my current [Barcelona] team-mates. For me it's a collective success," Putellas said at the ceremony.
Putellas fended off competition from teammate Jennifer Hermoso - who finished second - while Chelsea Women's Samantha Kerr took third ahead of Arsenal Women's Vivianne Miedema.
Pernille Harder, Jessie Fleming and Fran Kirby also finished in the top 10 for the Blues, while Ashley Lawrence of Paris Saint-Germain and Christine Sinclair of Portland Thorns finished eighth and sixth respectively.
