The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Barcelona eye possible reinforcements.
The Spanish champions spent big on Antoine Griezmann during the summer but missed out on a big-name striker in January, leading to speculation that they could splash the cash again when the window reopens.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news from the Camp Nou.
Thursday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:
Report: Arsenal reluctant to trigger Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang extension
Arsenal are reportedly reluctant to trigger the one-year extension in striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's contract due to financial concerns.
The Gabon international is into the final 12 months of his existing deal and has been touted as a possible target for La Liga giants Barcelona.
Arsenal have the option of renewing Aubameyang's terms to keep him at the Emirates Stadium until 2022, but The Athletic reports that they are stalling on doing so.
It is claimed that the Gunners' hierarchy are worried about the financial implications of paying the 31-year-old's hefty wages for a further year.
The same report indicates that concerns have been raised about the squad harmony being disrupted by keeping a player at the club who would rather be elsewhere.
Aubameyang has scored 27 goals for Arsenal in all competitions this season and has 68 in 108 appearances overall since joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
Inter Miami 'looking to sign Luis Suarez on free transfer'
Inter Miami are reportedly looking to snap up Luis Suarez on a free transfer when his Barcelona deal expires next summer.
The Uruguay international has spent the past five seasons at Camp Nou but recently entered the final 12 months of his existing deal.
Suarez could trigger an automatic extension in his contract should he play more than 60% of Barca's matches next season.
However, Mundo Deportivo claims that David Beckham-owned Inter Miami are closely monitoring developments with the view of making a move in a year's time.
The report indicates that the Major League Soccer side are prepared to offer Suarez a lucrative four-year deal to persuade him to move away from Europe.
Suarez has 19 goals and 12 assists in 34 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions this season.
